Processes I Enjoy:

  • Mystery - getting lost, losing myself, then finding myself again...it is such a reward!
  • Working only with what I have, I have to simplify by getting down to details. The littlest things when put together can release such a fantastic amount of energy!
  • Discovering things out of the air - intuition.
  • Working with intense memories - I set a target, using a physical medium to give form to the memory and even though the artwork is materialistic (not memory), when the physical form or artwork becomes similar to the memory that inspired it, I stop.

What I Believe:

  • Art that is not observed is not art.
  • The purpose of art is to unburden us of our imagination.
  • Art is endless. We just have to learn to cope with the eternity of it.
